Bionic Systems is definitely on my list of ultimate inspirations.  This team of two from Germany creates some of the best iconic and futuristic fonts and logos I have seen.  This link below was my introduction to them while I was in a class at the Columbus College of Art and Design in 2004.  I was blown away and had to learn more about how they did it, which started me on the path to where I am...

I found this downloadable PDF rather funny.  Print them on sticker paper and help critique the world to death.  For self enjoyment, or public mockery.  Some of them are rather mean, but I thought “Microsoft Word is not a design tool” was pretty good. I figured I’d pass on the link since I haven’t done any photography lately.

short update for today
I’ve been pretty busy lately now that school has started up again.  This semester I’m taking an illustration class, and a design class that focuses on product packaging (3D and applied 2D) as well as environmental design.  I think I am looking forward to getting into these classes.  I’ll be posting projects (scans or photos) as I complete them for those of you interested.   Also...

Photo Adventure 1.2.8
In my hometown, a couple of years ago, the city voted to have a new school built to house Kindergarden through 6th grade.  The old buildings (Parkview Middle School, Garnett Elementary School and Coffinberry Kindergarden) are no longer in use.  They have already completed the new building and started demolishing Garnett, and Coffinberry is next on the list.  Today I decided that I need to go to...

Going out
I’m actually going to be going out today to take pictures.  Its the morning after the first snow storm of 2008 and it was a pretty good one actually.  So I’m going to dig myself out of the snow and head out to a few spots I have planned.  I’ll post a few pictures later.
