I love David Mack’s illustration. I originally heard of his work through comic books he has done. As an illustrator his work is most uniquely applied in the series Kabuki. Each page is a combination of amazing water color, pen and ink, and/or pencil that is often times collaged in with printed typography telling the story. The “Reflection” comics that come between issues of his series of Kabuki that are full of comps, sketches and more an sold separately. It is worth checking out if you can get to a comic shop.
