Hey everyone. My sincerest apologies. The school year has started and I haven’t posted anything yet. I’ve been a bit wrapped up in things. Other than classes, this year I am the designer and IT specialist in the student employed on-campus graphic design firm called Glyphix (here).

I’m currently working on the VCD Newsletter titled “Roughs”. It has been around since the 70s but hasn’t exactly been published regularly. So this year I’m working on the first issue and making it a collectable poster to make it a little more interesting in this age of twitter, blogging and various other throw away media formats. The lovely image above is a mock up of what I am proposing the poster side look like. I will be making it on the letter press (as it is composed of woodtype blocks). Issue 1 should be out October 1st (with a downloadable PDF link in the future) so expect to see it here soon. If you are a Kent State VCD student, keep an eye out. We’re only going to letter press a certain amount of them as collectable posters!
