guest speaking

As really interesting news, though its not a huge deal, I was asked by Assistant Professor Shawn Simmons to come into her Intro to VCD 1 lecture class next Monday.  She asked both Jes and I to bring in some of our work and talk to the students for a couple of minutes about what we do, where we are in the program, what we like and what we don’t like so much.  Its fairly informal, and impromptu so that works for me.  I just thought it was worth mentioning that I am going to be used as an example of a good student (or at least I think) for incoming freshmen for the VCD major.  I just have no idea what to show now, so I have to go through my portfolio and find stuff.  I’ll let you know how it goes once I do it….unless it goes horribly/embarrassingly.  We’ll see.

Also, I’m not feeling as sick.  So new stuff soon.
