Though these are things I hear from professors often, or already feel/know, it never hurts to share information.  It is an interesting insight into things designers often forget about, ignore or don’t know.  This is one I am careful to mind:

For obvious reasons not all of these points are to be taken to heart, a lot of designing comes from intuition and that gut feeling that you love what you are doing.  But it never hurts to hear advice or commentary from other designers who know more… well.. because if you knew more than they do… then you wouldn’t need to read this.
