The new Safari 4 Beta is a pretty interesting change from the Safari 3.2.1 that is currently out. The first major change is the new Top Sites feature. Top Sites seems to keep tabs on what sites you frequent and let you set which ones you want quick access to whenever you open a new tab or window manually. The only gripe I have is that I am not a fan of the Google Chrome like tab index that is kept at the top of the browser window. I am sure I can get used to it, but I do not consider it a necessary change.
Another addition is where you type in the url at or the google search field. It now behaves a bit more like the spotlight search and like the Safari plug-in called Inquisitor where it predicts your entry so that you can reach things quicker.

Either way, I welcome Safari 4 and its speed increases and new cover flow-like features. Even though it is faster, PDFs are still a pain, but ultimately they appear to load a bit faster than usual. So in the end, as a beta, the new Safari is pretty good so far.
