GD 2: A Trip - In Progress…

In GD 2 we are about to wrap up the 6 week project about a trip that we have went on. I decided to go to Carol and John’s Comic Book Shop located in Kamm’s Plaza on the west-side of Cleveland. I have been going there for 14 years now (though not consecutive, I’ve moved a few times, but I always go back when I am in town) and since I have developed a personal relationship with the staff there, I decided to make it a story about a trip going to catch up and chat with John who owns the store with his mom Carol. I am telling the story through a series of trading cards (collect all 42!) where the story is told in first person and the images reflect what the subject matter is.

It isn’t completely done yet, but here are a couple screen caps of the work in progress:

The back reads about how I moved back to Cleveland from Columbus and started to get to know everyone.

I have more work to do on it, and the project is due soon, so I’ll have a more complete detailing of everything soon enough. See you then.
